CARD DESCRIPTION
Texas Hold'em Hole Cards
The front of each card has two card faces on it — these "hole cards" represents your starting hand. There is description text on the left, giving the name and a common nickname for the hole cards.
There is a hand type and value box toward the top. Types include Pocket Pair, Suited Broadway, Suited Connector, Off-Suited Broadway, and Median Hand. Also included here are the Worst Hands as "Jokers".
Starting hand values range from 23 for Aces, to 1 for Median Hands, and 0 for the "Joker" hands: 7 2 off-suit, and 3 2 off-suit. This value is the average strength of your hand after the flop.
There are 4 highlighted sections describing different flops. These include Weak Flops usually with less than 10 drawing cards, or "outs" that will help you, Good Flops usually with between 10 and 20 good cards, Great Flops usually with 20 to 30 good cards, and "The Nuts" with the strongest made hands possible at the time.
Each section gives the name of what kind of draw or made hand applies to your hole cards, and a value indicating the relative strength of your hand. This range is between 47 for a Royal Flush, to 1 for a good High Card, and 0 for when you're "drawing dead".
